I have found my heaven on earth and it's on El Cajon Boulevard. Who knew?! Exotic Gardens is my new favorite hang out. It's a little slice of tranquility right outside of Hillcrest/ University Heights on El Cajon Boulevard between Louisiana & Mississippi Street. Their prices are BEYOND reasonable and they carry every variation of air plant, cactus and succulent you can imagine! The owner, Carl, is incredibly knowledgable and helpful and the puppies that run around the nursery are so freakin' adorable.
