I am in such a rut lately. The only things that ever seem to lift me out of my ruts are retail therapy, vacations and party planning. Since I have no money to shop or travel, I have been researching baby showers like nobody's business! I'm throwing a shower for a sweet little friend of mine and her baby we've all dubbed, "The Peanut." Since I don't want to give away the ideas I'm going to use and spoil the fun, here are some of the cute ideas I've found that I'm NOT using!

Seeing as how the baby's pseudo-name is The Peanut, my first thought was to do a Circus Theme! That sounded like it could get too theme-y and that's definitely not what I'm going for. It is a super cute little idea though~

Then I thought it would be SO precious to do a little Enchanted Garden Party a la Hello Naomi but I know myself and my delusions of grandeur aka biting off more than I can chew and this seemed like something that would fit into that category!
