Living in San Diego, we're very lucky to have some very accessible, easy vacation spots. For our anniversary, we drove to Sedona and did some hiking and camping for a couple of days. Then we hit the road and drove across the desert for a little getaway in Palm Desert. We totally lucked out and found the Mojave Resort at the last minute! It was such a cute little vintage Palm Springs spot with a mellow little pool that was the perfect way to close out the weekend. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice weekend escape!
