So Monday night was the big baby shower I've been planning for months for Araby and Mr. Peanut! Here are some pics along with all of the details for where I found everything, links to recipes and all that good stuff. Mostly I have to thank my Mama and my sweet lil Grandmommy for a) party planning skills in my genes and b) half of the supplies!
I am so excited for little Mr. Peanut to arrive! Hopefully he's not too traumatized from the sing-a-longs on the limo bus last weekend;)
I cut out a bunch of green triangles and sewed them onto green ribbon in alternating colors.
The Guests of Honor arrived in a GREEN car because I needed everything to match;)
Guests were asked to guess the number of peanuts in the jar... the one closest to the real number won a Pacifica Prize Pack!
I made minty, peanut-shaped candy out of peanut candy molds from Bake it Pretty // I put the little candies in these vintage bags from Bake it Pretty's Etsy store
I bought these green pom poms from Pom Love on Etsy
I went with kind of a tapas theme for the food, with lots of things to nibble. I also made white sangria. I basically adapted this recipe... don't add sugar, it's too sweet!
I made vegetarian paella with grilled sausage on the side for the carnivores:)
The dessert table featured fresh fruit, lemon tarts, vanilla meringues and homemade lemon cupcakes!
The cutie preggo with Ms. Nicki and the green spread!
