I have been waiting for this since we moved to Normal Heights! I love the Hillcrest Farmers' Market but it's a total nightmare for parking, which is standard for everything in Hillcrest. I always mean to go to the North Park one but it feels out of my way when I'm on my way home from work, racing to get to my couch for some quality time. Well, my troubles are over... in terms of organic produce. On September 9th, we'll have our very own Farmers' Market on 40th Street, "where Normal Heights meets Kensington" says the website. Maybe that's at the little park by the 15 South freeway entrance? Surely it won't be hard to find... I'll follow my nose to the gyro vendor!
