I read magazines backwards.  I started reading the latest Sunset from back to front and was reading the 20 Best Towns of the Future article as a countdown from #20 and made it to the first page of the article with #1 & #2 and can you believe it?!  Our very own Golden Hill was named #2!  They referenced mxd830 as a "futuristic version of Main Street" and basically cite it as the beginning of re-energizing this neighborhood.  Though there are some really cute parts of Golden Hill, there are likewise some sketchy spots so any efforts to reshape those areas are greatly appreciated.  Housed in the mxd830 complex are live/work studios, Counterpoint (which we haven't tried yet!) and Nest Vintage Home (Buffalo Exchange for mid-century, vintage furniture!)  Congrats to Golden Hill!  Let's all get out and support those businesses to keep the efforts going!
