Last week I thought we had totally lost
The Selby Contest. After all that effort and over 250 votes, it had been all for naught... we came in at 61st place and needed to be in the top 50 to have a shot at winning. Then I got an email saying my votes had been adjusted due to multiple votes from the same people (sorry dad!) and they had been using fraud detection to adjust everyone else's votes. After the adjustments were made, guess who came in at 47th place?! We're in the top 50! Do you think Todd Selby reads Happenstance? Maybe he saw
Haydee's plea or my 5 million twitter updates begging for votes? Maybe he has Google Alerts so this post will land him here? Whatever it is, PICK ME, TODD! All that's left to do now is wait to see who CB2 and The Selby choose as the winner. So now we wait.
