Arclinea San Diego is putting on "The 2010 Gingerbread Collective" on Saturday December 18, 2010 from noon-4pm. Last year, Arclinea San Diego had 13 local architects and designers build gingerbread houses that went far beyond your typical gumdrop-candy cane-frosting-all-over mess that I would create. This year, Arclinea San Diego has invited a handful of San Diego's culinary greats from Chris Powell of Bali Hai to chef Joe Magnanelli of Cucina Urbana. There will also be catered items from Whole Foods Hillcrest and Stone Brewing Company with dishes and drinks inspired by -- what else -- Gingerbread!
On Saturday December 18th, we, the public, are invited to taste the results! Yes please! All proceeds will be donated to the Food Pantry and Holiday Meals program at Second Chance.
