Hello loves!  I have returned from Spain safe and sound and sick of jamon!  Here is our trip in a nutshell:

everyone still had the Christmas spirit

we went to the Prado

we ate amazing flan

we took a lot of trains

we walked around beautiful Cadiz

we watched the sunrise over Port Sherry in El Puerto de Santa Maria... at 8:30 am

we saw Spanish billboards

we saw monkeys in Gibraltar

one tried to steal my camera!

we saw amazing Sevilla

we watched flamenco

we ate paella

we went to Picasso's hometown of Malaga and saw loads of his work in their gorgeous museum

we knocked on the door of The Alhambra (in Granada) and they let us in!

good thing 'cause it was amazing

Now it's back to the real world of working on our casa.  Hopefully I'll have some progress pics soon... we're currently gutting the yard and my back hurts!  Manual labor is the pits!
