The pops sent me this amazingly gorgeous casa from the L.A. Times that belongs to architect Ray Kappe and his wife.  Architects have an unfair advantage when it comes to building homes.  Was that redundant?  Whatever... I am green with envy over this stunner and its floating levels and they way it blends in with the surrounding landscape:
