Mi Casa: Bathroom Update
Last year we were just trying to keep our heads above water (that hasn't changed) and make our house moderately live-able. Fixing up a foreclosure that had been left abandoned for 2+ years is definitely one of those things that sounds like an exciting idea at the time... but in reality gets quickly overwhelming. I blame HGTV for making it seem like remodels happen in a few days. Looking back at
this post, I realize how far our house has come in just one year! For instance, that snoozer of a grey bathroom with an awkward medicine cabinet in the middle of the wall now looks like this...
Dusty whipped up that mirror the other day with some teak he got from my pops. The light is crappy in that bathroom so know that it's not quite that green. Though it's definitely a serious shade of turquoise... much more us than the sterile color palate we had going on a year ago. We just have to rip out the counter/backsplash tile and sink, re-do that whole situation and we can close the chapter on this bathroom. Pretty rad to be so close to having finished rooms around here. We're not there yet but we're close!
Also, those towels are definitely Missoni for Target in case you were wondering. Yep, that happened.
