This is Erma Franklin (Aretha's big sister) performing the original version of Piece Of My Heart, which she recorded in 1967. Obviously this song was made largely famous when Janis Joplin sang it. They're both super soul sisters in their own right so it's tough to say who sang it better. I do love Erma's version of this classic... check it out below and jam into the weekend.
