Last year Dusty and I went to see David Byrne and St. Vincent at Humphrey's.  I'm not a huge fan of St. Vincent on her own but Dusty is... and we both love David Byrne of course.  I wasn't totally sure what to expect but I have to say I was pretty blown away.  Seeing David Byrne is like the musical equivalent of Cirque de Soliel: you're not sure what's coming next but you know it's going to knock your socks off.  They had a marching band who backed them on stage and got in on the choreography while David Byrne busted out some hilarious dad-type dance moves whenever you'd least expect it.  They played a few Talking Heads numbers and songs from their collaborative album.  I was obviously there for the latter.  Short story long, my favorite part of the night was when they played Road To Nowhere and they all marched around on stage together in a circle, complete with hilariously choreographed moves.  If you have the chance to see them while they're still out touring together, I can't recommend it highly enough.  In the meantime, here's a number that will always lift your spirits.
