I went out to the desert with Taryn a few weeks ago to take some maternity photos.  Truth be told, I'm much more comfortable behind the scenes than in front but Taryn has a way of putting you at ease... even when it's windy and 40 degrees out.  I had my girl Rachael of Lace & Likes/Siren Floral Co. whip up a sweet little floral crown for me, got dressed up in some vintage white dresses/kimono numbers (including one of my mama's maternity dresses) and a couple of simple pieces of turquoise and we headed for Cap Rock.  I don't typically feel like I'm particularly photogenic but Taryn captured some pretty great shots of me and my 8.5 month baby belly and I love her for it.  I know our little dude probably won't really care but it's such a great keepsake to have of this exciting time for us.  Below are a few of my fave shots but you can see more over on Taryn's blog and the Lace & Likes blog.
