I've had a girl crush on Jenny Lewis since The Wizard & Troop Beverly Hills.  When she started her career as a musician, it was basically a given that I would love her just as much in that role.  Cut to all these years later and she released a music video to promote her new album, Voyager.  It's a stroke of genius in my opinion... obviously.  First of all, that Lisa Frank-inspired suit (similar blazer: Ascot + Hart's Tatum jacket) and guitar is amazing.  Second, I have a sneaking suspicion that she reached out to two of Hollywood's most hated-on ladies, Anne Hathaway & Kristen Stewart ( exhibit a, exhibit b), to star in the video to help bring them back into the hearts of all the women ( every woman on the internet) who love to hate them.  Maybe they're just her friends but that's my conspiracy theory anyway.  That's obviously not the point of the video.  It's clearly about the expectations women face as they age that men don't have to (um hello babies) all wrapped up in a rainbow-filled, glittery package.  I'll take it.
