A Bright, Travel-Inspired Nursery
I got to work with one of my besties, Taryn Kent, to help her pull together her son's nursery. It was a bit of a wild ride at first because they were given a really short notice by their former landlords that they would need to move when she was just weeks away from her due date! They ended up finding a great house and put in their offer while she was actually at the hospital! Craziness! Moving with a newborn was no easy feat but they pulled it off brilliantly. After a crazy few months, Taryn really wanted to make sure that her son's nursery would be a peaceful sanctuary with lots of calm, sleepy vibes ;) Because Taryn and her husband both love to travel and have literally gone all over the world, we layered in lots of pieces from their travels as well as some meaningful items from their close friends (see: that amazing handmade wall hanging by Renata Stone!)
The full nursery is featured on 100 Layer Cakelet but here are some of my favorite highlights.
