Style At Home with Claire Reiner
I'm so excited to launch our new feature, Style At Home, where we get to take a peek into the everyday spaces of people whose style I admire. This edition features the photos and space of Claire Reiner. Claire's blog is called The Bellwether and her Instagram is filled with tons of eye candy - from interiors and style to her travels around the coast of CA and Baja with her boyfriend and for her day job as a publicist. Read on for a peek into that eye candy and a bit of Claire's style.

I currently live in a 1920s Spanish home in Normal Heights, my first completely on my own. A cute little updated bungalow, it’s filled with quite a few interesting quirks and details.
At 26, I’m still figuring out my sense of style when it comes to interiors (and I suspect I always will be), but I know that I’m drawn to muted, natural hues, all things woven and classic vintage furniture (especially mid-century designs).
My space is an amalgamation of pieces from my grandparents, parents and Ikea (I have no shame, I love Ikea). I also love creating vignettes in my home, whether it’s a stack of books paired with a vase and candle or a basket filled with vintage records — I think it’s those little details that set the tone.
This summer, as the temperatures continue to rise here in San Diego, I’ve been starting the days earlier and taking a little bit of home with me to the park or to the beach. Since this old house doesn’t have the best air conditioning, it’s the best way to beat the heat.
