Help with money, not stuff.

Buy stuff on Etsy from people who are donating proceeds... thanks to Victoria at SF Girl by the Bay for the list!

If you haven't done it already, text "Haiti" to 90999 and give $10 to the Red Cross through your phone bill!

Finally, while I have you thinking about doing good for your fellow man, why don't you check out this list of volunteer options and act locally?  I just learned that my work allows us to take a bonus day for Community Service.  Maybe yours does too?  It doesn't hurt to ask.

Today we remember Martin Luther King, Jr. and no matter what color we are, should feel grateful that someone so inspirational walked this earth.  It truly makes me think about the little things I can do to make a difference for those around me.  I found this picture a few years ago in People magazine and it warms my heart every single time I look at it.  It lives on my fridge now to warm my heart daily~

Doesn't your heart feel warmer??  Now let's go make a difference.  I, for one, will start by feeding the dog and making a difference in his life.  It's the little things:)
